18 March 1969 until 26 May 1970 Operation Menu was a codename of a covert United States Strategic Air Command (SAC) bombing campaign. The main bombing areas sanctuaries and Base Areas. The mission was originally supposed to just be to get military information, but escalated quickly.
The US and South Vietnam troops sent bombs into Cambodia to get information.
40,000-150,000 civilians were killed with all the bombs that were sent into the country.
Hundreds of buildings and houses were torched to the ground.
